Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) established under PEC Act 1976, is mandated to regulate all aspects of engineering education and profession, and shall function as key driving force for achieving rapid and sustainable growth in all national, economic, and social fields. Since then, PEC has taken initiatives in almost all engineering sectors and contributions at all fronts including policy making, quality education, technical a ssistance to the Federal Government, codes, and standards development, etc. It is pertinent to mention that many Graduate Engineers have innovative ideas/ commercially viable solutions for the problems of the industries resulting in entrepreneurship opportunities and job creation but due to absence of information and an effec tive platform, are unable to materialize their ideas to the relevant industry. Similarly, Employers/ Investors are also unable to get potential graduates and solutions as per their requirements. Thus, there is need of a common platform for Graduate Engineers possessing commercially viable ideas to attract the relevant industry/ investor.
